Alexis Zaccariello
Alexis uses several techniques on her ceramics pieces. Sgraffito: carving through colorful underglaze on leather hard clay. Raku: searing horse hair, sugar and feathers on a 800 degree ceramic surface. Lastly, encaustic: wax and resin painting medium is used to create decorative surface design.
